Big Bears Tiny House in the Otways!

We rented a tiny home in Skenes Creek North for a midweek getaway. The small home is hidden away on the owners property, providing the ultimate serene and relaxing experience.
It's just a short fifteen minute drive down to Apollo Bay or an hour back up to Lorne for food and essentials. The property is close to Beech Forest with all its walking tracks, beautiful waterfalls and the towering Californian Red Wood Forest.
This trip we visited Lower Kalimna Falls, Beauchamp Falls and Hopetoun Falls.
Kalimna is located just outside Lorne. It's 2.9km to the Lower falls and 4.1km to Upper. We didn't make it to Upper as there had be significant damage to the trail from recent flooding of the area. That also made the trail super muddy so be prepared for that.
You'll find Beauchamp and Hopetoun down at Beech Forest. Both easy and short walks but have decent inclines and steps to tackle.
Boogie was lucky enough to be brought along for our midweek getaway, he had a blast.

It is a fairly new trailer with all amenities needed. It has a spacious bathroom, decent kitchen with gas cooking, a coffee machine and wood fire heater to keep you cozy.
There is a queen size bed facing a floor to ceiling window, giving unbelievable panoramic views of the Otways. You can also see all the way dow to the ocean and the waves crashing down on the beach.
We enjoyed coffee in bed at sunrise.
