I ventured one and a half hours north of Melbourne to Flowerdale, where Paz is located. The traditional land of the Taungurung and Wurundjeri People.
Unfortunately the spicy hike to Paz was made difficult by the constant rain Melbourne had during my visit. It's 1.4km hike up a 150m incline had turned into a down hill stream, I was elated to see the cabin when I reached it.
I was welcomed with peaceful views and nothing but the sound of nature around me, worth the battle I had with the relentless rain.
I had a wonderful 48 hours off grid, waking up to fog covered mountains and the sound of trees rustling in the wind. I drank hot coffee from enamel mugs provided and stayed cozy why the fire.
